Hi, I'm Marta
I’m excited that you are here. I’ve been living in Switzerland for more than 10-years. I love to travel and discover the parts of the country that are not found at the tourist information office, and to get to know the authentic Swiss culture. Through Agate Experience, I look forward to sharing the best of my adventures and experiences with you. So you too can make memories and relax, while experiencing more of this fascinating country. For me, travel has always been more than just a holiday. It’s really an opportunity to learn, grow and enrich my life in some way, while balancing out my daily stress with time to laugh, relax and recuperate. All my experiences are designed to help you enjoy the same benefits. I can’t wait for you to experience the same as you discover the hidden gems of Switzerland.
Creating Agate Experience
My favourite part about travelling is going off the typical tourist path and experiencing life in a country in the same way as the locals. However, this isn’t so easy when you are there for a short period of time. That’s why I wanted the Agate Experience to focus on helping you find and enjoy Switzerland’s hidden gems. The places, products and people usually only known to the locals. The name comes from this purpose, to show the ‘hidden gems’. Agate is a gemstone that isn’t so well known, yet has a rich composition made of beautiful colours and diverse patterns. It is believed to balance the mind, body, and spirit as well as helping you to slow down and centre yourself, replenish your energies and gently heal. These characteristics closely align with my mission: to create rich travel experiences, that enable you to have fun and discover new things, while recharging your batteries, and escaping the stresses of modern life. Each experience has been carefully planned and I take care of all the details for you, so you can relax and enjoy an unforgettable experience. Another of my values is sustainability. Therefore, our trips are organized and carried out in ways that respect the environment.

3 weeks in Cambodia and Thailand with Marta!
I travel with Marta for years. In Switzerland or Hungary, she always finds varied, exciting programs. Our last trip was the best of my life: the almost 3-week Cambodia-Thailand trip was perfectly organized from the flight to the taxi ordered to a very remote place.
We had accommodation in a bungalow on the secluded shores of Koh Rong, in a hotel with pool in Siem Reap, in the bustling centre of Bangkok in a calm and quiet hostel, and even on the Kwai River, in a floating hotel. All of them great value for the money.
Few of the programs were: elephant sanctuary, Thai cooking course, a visit to a Buddhist monastery, snorkelling, swimming with glowing planktons, - of course, these were beyond the basic attractions (Angkor Wat, Ayutthaya, Erawan Falls). I'm looking forward to our next adventure!
